Derek Catsam, UTPB History Professor, and Kathlyn Cosper Dunagan Professor in the Humanities, was recently interviewed on the South American Broadcasting Corporation (South African radio and television). He discussed radio, race, and politics. He was interviewed in the studios of the national SABC headquarters in Johannesburg. However, the interview was broadcast coast to coast from various SABC satellites. He is a senior research associate at Rhodes University at Grahamstown in South Africa and associate editor and book notes editor of “Safundi: the Journal of South African and American  Studies. The interview questions were in Afrikaans but Catsam’s responses are in English. His podcast is in the black bar beneath the photo caption.
