Sonia Flores
Sonia Flores is a Senior at UTPB. Her major is Communication and her minor is Spanish. She is originally from Fort Hancock, TX. Her favorite things to do are to spend time with her loved ones, travel, meet new people, and, go to church. She is currently a volunteer at The Gathering Church where she translates and greets. She is also the  Undergraduate Education Advisory Committee Student Representative for the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. Sonia is currently a multimedia reporter for The Mesa Journal, where she conducts interviews, takes pictures and writes stories. After graduating, Sonia wants to move to Los Angeles and pursue a career as a news reporter and also follow her dream of becoming an actress. She hopes to one day open her own charities to benefit financially struggling college students and children with cancer. Her favorite quote is: "I rather have a life of 'Oh, Well's' rather than a life of 'What If's?' "
