Crews ‘delivers’ at JBS lecture

UTPB’s John Ben Shepperd Public Leadership Institute hosted a lecture featuring Terry Crews, Thursday, April 27, 2017 as part of the Institute’s Distinguished Lecture Series.

Crews has performed as an action-movie hero and sitcom star, worked as a syndicated game show host, is a former NFL player, and best-selling author. Currently, he is the newest host of the well-known syndicated game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? and stars as Sgt. Terry Jeffords on FOX’s Golden Globe award-winning comedy series, Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

The lecture was conducted at the Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center at Hwy. 191 and FM 1788 and was entitled, “Humor in Leadership: An Evening with Terry Crews.”

The event began at 7 p.m. and was free and open to the public. Dr. Robert Brescia, executive director of the JBS Public Leadership Institute and Patrick Canty, publisher of the Odessa American co-moderated the lecture.
