Congratulations to Spring 2017  University of Texas of the Permian Basin (UTPB) Bachelor of Music graduates Texas King and Jeb Harris who were awarded the Texas Music Educators Association’s “College Music Educator Award!” The Texas Music Educators Association is one of the largest professional music associations in the world. The criteria for the award is to have a 3.5 or better overall Grade-Point Average (GPA), be a music education major, and the nominees needed to show evidence of non-mandatory music instruction or have been significantly involved in the local music education community.  The UTPB Music faculty, staff, and fellow students wish these two gentlemen the best of luck in their music education career!
