Kappa Pi Silent Art Auction

On March 6, from:6-8 p.m., the Kappa Pi Silent Art Auction took place at the Nancy Fyfe Cardozier Gallery. The Auction’s purpose was to raise money for a trip to Marfa, Texas and for future events that will enrich art on the UTPB Campus.

Sandra Vega, a junior, majoring in art, mentioned that students do this every year. This year they are trying to raise money for the trip to in order to see some museums and also to fund other elements for the club, UTPB’s Kappa Pi Art Honor Society. She, along with other art major students, presented some of their works to be auctioned.
