Ana Ruth Lugo Mejia, Multi-Media Managing Editor
Ana Ruth Lugo Mejia is an international student from Mexico majoring in marketing. She has been working for the Mesa Journal news since 2015 when she transferred from Mississippi State University to finish her degree at UT Permian Basin. She loves writing, conducting interviews and taking pictures. In her free time, she enjoys reading and highly recommends reading The English Patient, The Portrait of Dorian Gray, and Love in the Time of Cholera. three of her most favorite books and listening to music. She’s a big Cowboy fan and Barcelona (soccer team) fan. She has been involved with the newspaper for almost two years. After finishing her degree she intends to return to Mexico.
